Lou is from Hangzhou, China, and lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

Her artworks document her reflections on human society's various relationships and communications.  In addition to discussing coexistence between different individuals and groups, She also focuses on people's self-perception, mainly the entanglement and reconciliation between people and themselves, and the role of time in these processes.  How emotion and rationality are balanced is the essence of all relationships and is of great interest to her.  And she is more inclined to go beyond gender to discuss the universal problem of balancing emotion and rationality.
