Astrid Oudheusden

Astrid lives and works in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
If she hadn't become a painter, Astrid Oudheusden would have become a psychologist, as human interaction and human beings fascinate her to no end. The award-winning painter, who resides in the Netherlands, feels that there is no limit to what can be accomplished on canvas or paper. Oudheusden employs acrylics, gouache, watercolors, markers, charcoal, collage, and pencils - whatever material that allows her to make fluid movements when creating.

Artist statement: I observe people and dogs. Life seems pretty difficult for many, so I focus on daily life to give hope, insight, and the feeling that there are people who care.
