Amrei Wittwer graduated from the ZHDK Zurich with a degree in Fine Arts. At the art academy, she focused on acquiring craft techniques in painting and sculpture. Wittwer's approach to art is representational, it relates to people's lives - and it is craft-based. Wittwer considers himself an art-craftsman. Wittwer's works are meant to awaken, but they want to empower, and in the best case, even contribute to healing. She lives and works in Nüziders.
